What is Soft Grain?

Soft Grain represents my print shop that produces stellar, high quality photo prints. Soft Grain gets its name from the way I like to describe my photos. I like to create classic, grainy film photos with soft pastels.

Every Soft Grain print begins long before it reaches your wall. I personally shoot, develop, and scan each roll of film in-house, giving me complete control over the process and making sure every frame stays true to the moment it was captured.

From camera to wall, every print is handled with intention and care in every step. Printed on premium luster paper through a professional photo lab, my prints are meant to show the rich colors, fine details, and timeless character that make film photography special.

How Does It Work?

  1. I develop & scan my film

  2. Upload photo to Soft Grain

  3. You place an order

  4. I send it to my print lab

  5. Your order gets to your door in 1-2 weeks

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to be delivered.

  • All prints will be on premium luster paper and styrene mounted. Luster paper has a soft shine that reduces glare while the color remains rich and vibrant. Luster paper also doesn’t catch fingerprints compared to other papers.

  • Yes! Send me a message in the contact form and let me know the size + print name you want. I’ll get back to you to let you know if it’s possible :).

  • Styrene mounted is a high quality print where the back of the photo is mounted to a sturdy 2mm black Styrene backing. This gives it added durability and helps it stay perfectly flat over time without bending, warping, or tearing.
