I’m Jaz, a photographer based in Austin who enjoys capturing everyday moments. I’ve been a photographer for nearly 10 years. I’m drawn to all kinds of subjects like portraits, street scenes, landscapes, and lately, vintage cars.

My love for film photography started in a high school class, where I first learned how to develop film and make prints in a darkroom. Since then, I’ve continued to develop film at home.

What I love most about shooting film is how it forces you to slow down and be present. To notice the light, and capture moments with intention. In a world that moves so quickly, film gives me a way to pause and preserve the quiet, meaningful moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

It’s a special feeling knowing my art is in someone’s intimate space like their room or office. I hope my photos remind you of a road trip with your family, a beach honeymoon, your first car, a quiet morning in Austin, or the kind of place you hope to visit one day.
